China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd ("CAO") is the largest physical jet fuel trader in the Asia Pacific region and the key supplier of imported jet fuel to China's civil aviation industry.

CAO's key businesses include jet fuel supply and trading, trading of other oil products and investments in oil-related assets.

Incorporated in Singapore on 26 May 1993, CAO was listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited since 6 December 2001.

Our parent company, China National Aviation Fuel Group Limited ("CNAF") is a large State-owned enterprise in China. It is the largest aviation transportation logistics service provider in China, with a diverse portfolio of businesses, comprising aviation fuel distribution, storage and refuelling services at over 210 airports in China. CNAF holds about 51% of the total issued shares of CAO.

BP Investments Asia Limited, a subsidiary of oil major, BP, is a strategic investor of CAO, holding 20% of the total issued shares of CAO.

Job Description

    • Responsible for recording and reconciliation of jet fuel trading physical and paper ledger, as well as submission and verification with Risk Management Team;
    • Responsible for jet fuel book business performance including P&L analysis on regular basis and tracking business flows as required;
    • Execute physical and paper trades under the instruction and guidance of traders, and assist to key in the deals into CXL as required;
    • Assist on performing tracking on arbitrage shipments, related market prices, transportation costs etc. in order to provide meaningful data to traders;
    • Prepare related reports for aviation fuel department on regular basis and in timely manner;
    • Work closely with IT department to develop business report automation system as required;
    • Perform translations and other jobs as assigned by the management and Head of Aviation Fuel Trading.

Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
    • 1-2 years’ relevant experience;
    • Good analytical skills to collect, collate and evaluate large amount of data.
    • Meticulous and keen to work with databases.
    • Ability to multi-task and perform in a deadline driven environment.
    • Excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese speaking stakeholders verbally/ in writing as well as to prepare and proof-read English/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).
